Thrive Where You're Planted

Happy Resurrection Monday! Over these past few weeks the Lord keeps on showing me how sophisticated and intricate the ecosystem of his church is. The more we realize who we are in him, the stronger we become and the more we strengthen our church as a whole. When we walk more and more with the Lord, the passion that sparks in us makes us start to seek his direction more and more. In this process I believe that many of us start to wonder what we can do in ministry, are we called to preach, teach, evangelize? The short answer is yes. The Lord is calling us to make disciples, spread his love, and his word. However, like many things God's plan doesn't always look how we imagine it. He has planted us all in different areas to touch many different pockets of society. There can only be so many leaders in a church building, however we can be his hands and feet reaching more and more and helping him rise us this strong spiritual army!

Acts 1:8 ESV But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Galatians 5:13 ESV For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

1 Corinthians 13:1-13 ESV If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; ...
